In the “Early Days” (c. 1995), friends were pestering me to add color printing to my architectural designs. I felt that would compromise the purity of this unique art form. So, out of spite, I created these “Bones” designs because it was logical that they should remain white. Well, they quickly shot up to be one of my top sellers! They say the Parthenon in Greece used to be painted in bright colors. But, when we think of it now in anything but the marble white we see in modern photos, it just seems wrong. I guess that’s how I still feel about my cards! The Bones Collection 6 card boxed set - $39 |
