Shofar Sounds Available in a boxed set containing 6
cards with 7 envelopes. |
| This design was inspired by the beginning lines of a poem by Joyce B.Schwartz, “ Beneath the iridescent dome the shofar sounds”. The image is the ruins of a synagogue in St. Nicholas, Hungary. The original synagogue was built in 1843 and restored in 1906. It fell into disuse after W.W.II. Today, there are not enough Jews in St. Nicholas to form a minyan. Text reads "The Shofar Sounds".
